Chun Jung-myung Opens Up About Fear of Falling Too Deep in Love with Textile Artist Lee Hye-ri

On the February 17th broadcast of tvN STORY’s “Can I Love Now” (literal translation), actor Chun Jung-myung met his second blind date, textile artist Lee Hye-ri. The two shared moments of excitement and nervousness, such as when their fingers brushed while unwrapping a cake.
Chun Jung-myung and Lee Hye-ri shared an engaging conversation during their blind date. Lee Hye-ri revealed that this was only her second blind date, usually meeting people naturally. When asked about his first blind date, Chun Jung-myung responded with a “No comment,” explaining he didn’t want to say anything that could lead to a mistake for her sake.

Lee Hye-ri shared her love for exercising and watching romance thrillers, complimenting Chun Jung-myung by saying he resembled Brad Pitt, which made him smile. The two found they had similar personalities, with Lee Hye-ri expressing that she speaks up when upset and doesn’t hold things inside. Chun Jung-myung agreed, preferring openness in relationships.
When asked about whether love or work comes first in a deep relationship, Lee Hye-ri said, “Love is the priority at first, but once trust is established, work will take precedence.” Regarding seeing a partner every day, she stated, “Seeing each other every day would be a bit difficult. I need time for myself. Respect and personal space are important, and some distance can make the attraction more rational.”

As their conversation continued, Chun Jung-myung admitted, “I was amazed by her strong sense of self and values. It’s a positive thing, but it’s also kind of scary. I’m afraid I might fall too deep for her emotionally.”
